Tell us about your venue

In a time where everything feels like a trend, Mister A’s Restaurant in San Diego remains a classic. Perched atop the Manchester Financial Building, it has been an iconic, fine dining establishment since opening in 1965.

How did you previously manage events?

We had used Tripleseat for 3 years prior to switching to Perfect Venue. We had kept losing emails due to the way the inbox is set up. Also, it didn't provide the ability to have the guest select the menu on their own time. Chasing down guests for their menu was always a hassle along with the guest having the type out the selections or needing to call to provide them over the phone. Now, the email communication is simple and being able to have the guest simply check the boxes for their menu items is a game changer.

How has Perfect Venue helped your process?

Perfect Venue has streamlined the event process. Especially with obtaining the menu selections and communication.

Has your event revenue increased since using Perfect Venue?

At this point, I can't comment on whether the program has increased revenue, but I have received many compliments on the overall process of planning which I imagine will help bring guests back for future events.

How was the setup and migration process?

The setup and migration was as good as it gets. The team kept checking in to ensure we didn't have issues and that the set up was to our liking. I had a few additional requests with the BEO set up and the changes were made within the same day.

What’s your favorite Perfect Venue feature?

The set up of the proposal is my favorite feature. The simplicity on the clients end and being able to secure menu selections from the start is amazing.

What’s something fun and unique about your events program?

Something fun and unique about our events program is since we are a staple in San Diego, we get to hear stories of generations that have held many events here throughout the past 60 years. Knowing that guests return because they can trust Mister A's and know they will be well taken care of. That is why a seamless events platform is so important. We want the guests to focus on the gathering and not the headache the planning process can be. Luckily, with Perfect Venue, we can provide this experience.
