We have a pretty sizable space that has several "rooms" allowing for a variety of groups and events to host with us. We've hosted business meetings, birthday parties, baby showers, and even wedding receptions alongside our own, branded events.
It has consolidated all of the info into one place, streamlined the process of taking reservations, and simplified the way we interact with guests who are looking to make a reservation or bring their group to Trace. It has also allowed our front of house staff to really shine and be able to offer the best possible service without having to worry about details being unclear.
The calendar makes it so easy to see what is happening on a specific day, in which room, and at what time at a glance so we can easily avoid double bookings. And the internal notes show up on the front of house calendar at the bar, so anyone working that day can quickly check all the necessary details.
The number of inquiries we receive about private events and group bookings has increased dramatically which in turn has introduced our business to guests who might not have heard of Trace otherwise. And it always feels really nice to get a message from a host after their event about what a great time they had here at Trace.
It's extremely flexible. We have both indoor and outdoor spaces that we can reserve for groups as small as 12 or as large as 200. We don't have a kitchen here, but we work with a rotating list of food trucks that can offer catering options to large parties. We also never charge for the space itself, we only charge for our bar packages which also act as the reservation for the space.
We offer an open bar package to anyone looking to make a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday reservation for $15 per guest/per hour.
