At The Linksman, we’ve redefined the art of hosting events, transforming every occasion into a memorable, unique, and stress-free experience. How did you previously manage events?

For about 8 months, I managed my events using Excel spreadsheets, but I reached a breaking point when I spoke with a prospect and realized I had forgotten our previous conversation around pricing and other pertinent details! After a few days of research, I discovered Perfect Venue, which completely transformed The Linksman into a well-structured and organized event venue.

How has Perfect Venue helped your process?

My sales increased significantly after switching from Excel to Perfect Venue, largely because I could respond to prospects quickly as soon as a lead came in from my website. I began advertising on platforms like Google Ads, Yelp, and Meta, and when a lead arrives, Perfect Venue sends me an email and text notification, allowing me to quickly reply with email templates and pricing. The best feedback I receive from customers who book The Linksman is about my prompt response time, which sets me apart from the local competition.

Has your event revenue increased since using Perfect Venue?

While it's difficult to pinpoint exactly how much my event revenue has increased since switching to Perfect Venue, I’ve seen consistent month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter growth in sales. I also love the sales pipeline feature, which lets me easily move leads from "qualified" to "proposal sent" and finally to "confirmed events." This has enabled me to quickly estimate monthly sales and forecast revenue months in advance. Because my business is highly seasonal, I can now run promotions during slower months, like summer, or adjust my pricing during busier times, such as the holiday season.

How was the setup and migration process?

After a few weeks of training and getting familiar with the platform, I quickly realized the value of Perfect Venue. It brought everything together in one place—email templates, proposals, reports, internal notes, calendars, and much more. My sales numbers grew rapidly, and I no longer struggled to remember conversations with prospects and clients.

What’s your favorite Perfect Venue feature?

My favorite feature is the iOS app that Perfect Venue launched in 2024, which allows me to quickly navigate through emails, pricing, calendars, reports, notes, and more. Within the platform, I particularly love the ability to adjust pricing on the fly before sending proposals, especially since my pricing can fluctuate seasonally.

What integrations do you use and how do they help you?

My favorite integration within the Perfect Venue platform is the ability to use Square, which I was already using for transactions inside my venue with the Square reader. Now, I no longer need to manage multiple credit card services—everything operates under a single platform with Square. Whether customers book online through Perfect Venue or make purchases in-store using Square, the entire process has been seamless.

What’s something fun and unique about your events program?

My guests appreciate the privacy at Linksman, which sets us apart from venues like TopGolf, bowling alleys, or axe-throwing spots where you share the space with other groups. Although we offer a state-of-the-art 21' golf simulator, I've designed the venue to cater to both golfers and non-golfers. It includes features like billiards, an arcade, a lounge, a TV, beer pong, surround sound, and more!

What’s your most popular package or menu item?

I offer hourly venue fees and outsourced the bartending and food catering to third parties
