Perfect Venue took all the stress and disorganization out of organizing our book of event business. We have tried almost every software out there (including Planning Pod, Honeybook and Tripleseat), and Perfect Venue's interface, ease of use, and client-first-mentality knocks every other platform out of the water. I particularly love how SIMPLE it is, yet they have somehow thought of everything a venue would need to smoothly run an event. There is no noise in their product, just effective features. Being able to communicate effectively with FOH and BOH is essential to a smooth event, and Perfect Venue just gets it -- the notes copying over into the Staff BEO and the full menu being customizable is just genius. Their internal team is so good at helping with integration, and once I gave them my spreadsheet record of all past events, they literally had it uploaded same day. Same with our menus -- they uploaded all of those for me and even took it to the next level by making recommendations to build it to work most seamlessly with PV. I literally cannot say enough great things about them. It sounds funny, but I wake up looking forward to log in to Perfect Venue everyday. It is so EASY.
My life is forever CHANGED with Perfect Venue. It is the holy grail of software for managing events. It has everything I need, and none of the noise. The way it allows me to communicate with BOH is like never before, and I specifically love how all of my notes instantly update globally. From a customer perspective, I can build a quote within 30 seconds, which allows me to stay acutely on top of booking new event business quickly. I love the text messages that I get when someone inquires — it totally gamifies the experience!
We have doubled our event revenue since switching to Perfect Venue year-over-year. Some of the factors I believe have contributed to this are getting a text notification for new leads so we can reply instantly, having beautiful and easy to read emails for guests and proposals that allow them to make their own selections for choices and add-ons, which increases our upsells.
Switching to Perfect Venue from Tripleseat and Honeybook (we had used both platforms previously) could not have gone more smoothly. Once I organized our records in their easy-to-understand google sheet, their amazing customer success team uploaded my records into Perfect Venue later that day. I love that all my reporting is accurate from the billing details that carried over from our former software. Also, it was amazing that all the previous events still showed up on our historical calendar. This way I can track trends year-over-year, which was very important to us as a newer venue.
The calendar is outstanding, and my whole team loves the way you can toggle on and off events by stage. I love the customer experience the most — other platforms made the email experience SO awful for the customer, and Perfect Venue makes everything look sleek and organized from the eyes of our event hosts.
This is the best software I have EVER used. I came from the tech world, and PV just really gets it. You understand your customer, and more importantly, you understand your customer’s customer :)
